The Erasmus+ Ka171 Student and Staff Mobility Scholarships Between Busitema University (Uganda) and Rhine Waal University of Applied Sciences (Germany)

Key Fellowship Facts

1. Applications are free of charge.
2. Only fully registered students from the Faculty of Agiculture and Animal Sciences of Busitema University in their final year of study on normal progress with CGPA of at least 4 in the following academic programmes are eligble to apply:
   • Bachelor of Science in Agriculture
   • Bachelor of Agribusiness
   • Master of Science in Global Change and Sustainable Agriculture
3. Fully registered Students of PhD in Science in Global Change and Sustainable Agriculture who are conducting research in a reas of circular food econonomy and are willing to undertake some course units offered at masters level at Rhine Waal University can also apply.
4. Both staff and student applicants are required to have at least a B2 level of English proficiency in order to effectively participate in the exchange academic activities. Applicants are expected to provide a valid language proficiency certificate tenable from Makerere University as proof of their english language competence by the time of nomination.
5. The duration of the students mobility is one semester (5-6 months); and that of staff mobility is 10-11 days. This period cannot be reduced/extended except in cases of force majeure.
6. There is a one time payment for mobility of 1.188€ per participant to cater for travel realated costs. Additionally, each student mobility particpant will recive an allowance of 900€ per month; whereas staff particpants will recieve 190€ per day. No other pyament will be given to participants.
7. Participants will be provided with required invitation letters and recommendations regarding insurance etc.
8. The mobility will take place during the 2027 summer term (1^st March to 31^st August 2027); and the list of nominated participants will be sent to Rhine Waal Universoity of Apllied Sciences by 1^st November 2026.
