N.B:     FEES PAYMENT
(i)         All fees are payable in full at the beginning of the Academic Year or in two installments at the beginning of each Semester.  International students pay fees in Uganda Shillings.

(ii)        Every privately-sponsored student is obliged to pay all the Tuition fees and the Functional fees before he/she can be registered and allowed to attend classes as well as being issued with the University Identity Card.  Payment of all Tuition and functional fees must be completed within the first 6 (six) weeks of a semester of each academic year. 

(iii)       A privately sponsored student who chooses to withdraw from a programme of study may be refunded part of the tuition and functional fees of that Semester according to the following schedules:
           
            A.        Within the First Half of the Semester
            (a)        Tuition fee                                                                                  50%
            (b)        Registration fee                                                                           0%
            (c)        Library fee                                                                                  0%
            (d)        Research fund fee                                                                       0%
            (e)        Examination fee                                                                          80%
            (f)        Computer fee                                                                               0%
            (g)        Medical fee                                                                                 50%
            (h)        Development fee                                                                          0%
            (i)         Accommodation fee                                                                     0%               

 

            B.        Within the Second Half of the Semester
Only part of the examination fee is refunded up to a maximum of 20% of the examination fee.  The other components of the fees shall attract a  zero percentage refund.

(iv)       The University Council reserves the right to vary fees chargeable any time with or without prior notice.
